Class 2

ANSI 107 Class 2 is the middle ground visibility standard, and the one most commonly worn. Class 2 high visibility safetywear must meet two key criteria. They must have sufficient fabric (more than Class 1) in an approved fluorescent color (lime, orange or red), and they must also have reflective striping of at least 2" in width that encircles the wearer.  There are other requirements to be met, as well.  OSHA guidelines and Federal Highway standards define whether Class 2 or Class 3 garments must be worn for specific jobs.
