Class 3

ANSI 107 Class 3 is the highest level visibility standard, and the one most worn for workers subject to the most dangerous traffic conditions. Class 3 high visibility safetywear must meet three key criteria, in addition to other requirements. They must have sufficient fabric (more than Class 2) in an approved fluorescent color (lime, orange or red), they must have sleeves, and they must also have reflective striping of at least 2" in width that encircles the wearer and the sleeves.  OSHA guidelines and Federal Highway standards set the guidlines as to whether Class 2 or Class 3 garments must be worn for a given job.
